Living Gallery Easter Production
April 19, 2014
| Leave 9 am, Return 9 pm; 2 pm performance
On Saturday, April 19, 2 pm, make plans to join us for the Upstate’s annual Easter tradition at Bob Jones University!
This year’s Living Gallery drama, Looking unto Jesus, is set in Jerusalem in 586 BC. Babylon has conquered Judah, destroyed Jerusalem and taken many prisoners. Their kings turned away from Jehovah and failed to protect the nation. Their priests practiced idolatry in the Temple. The Jewish remnant long for the perfect king and the perfect priest, the Messiah, to free them from oppression and restore true worship.
This Easter, view Christ’s sacrifice and triumph through the eyes of the Jewish remnant clinging to the promise of the coming Messiah. In addition to the drama, the original music and life-size re-creations of Art Masterpieces containing live actors promises to be an awe-inspiring, blessed event.
Tickets need to be ordered on April 1 so please sign up on the list in the foyer indicating your plans to attend. Checks should be made out to Ferndale Baptist. Prices are as follows: Adults: $11; Children 6-12: $9. Unfortunately, children under the age of six cannot be admitted.
We leave at 9 am on April 19; plan to eat lunch & supper in Greenville; we should return around 9:00 pm. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Mike.
